After the hellish trip from Tbilisi, it was a pleasure to finally meet Anna and her family. What I experienced is a perfect example of Armenian hospitality. While their house was undergoing heavy works (painting, plumbing, etc) they didn't hesitate to take me in (I also suspect they actually gave me one of their beds and slept somewhere else in the house, but I will not ask, as I fear the answer). Their apartment is located in one of those mentioned Soviet towers, but it's cozy nonetheless. It also looks bigger than mine, despite being apparently smaller. Miracles of smart wall positioning.
For dinner we had a very good Armenian soup that Anna prepared, plus some cheese and a thick ham. What seems typical here is the presence of a lot of greens, especially thyme. In fact, she also prepared some thyme infusion before dinner. It's so good and simple to prepare, I gotta try at home. In fact, DO TRY THIS AT HOME!
After some chat and the general disappointment for not being a football fan despite being Italian, I literally dropped dead in bed, also lulled by the hypnotising movement of the paint roll, and proceeded to sleep without interruption, despite being told, the morning after, that they kept working till 04:00. Hello, guilt trip, it was a while!
The morning after Anna prepared a great Armenian breakfast, but unfortunately she couldn't follow me in Yerevan, as the houseworks were going to keep her occupied.

She explained me how to reach the city, what could possibly go wrong?
(Spoiler: nothing went wrong this time)
