Caucasian Walk

Good day.

Here we go, with yet another blog that will be started and shortly abandoned. But this might be different, being just a limited thing. I never had a travelog. I'm really bad at keeping diaries and track of things I do. Yet this is the perfect chance to start one. It'll help me focus on what I see and feel.

Tomorrow my solo trip to Caucasus begins. For two weeks I'll travel through Georgia and Armenia, (skipping Azerbaijan for time, money and visa issues). I'll try to update this blog as often as I can. No idea how wifi coverage is there. Can't be worse than Milan, huh?

I'll rely on CouchSurfing and hostels for lodging. I'll mostly travel with marshrutka. I plan to take lots of pictures and eat lots of local food. And to to drink tons of local wine.

Wish me good luck.

  1. “Marshrutka” – how much is in this word for me!  Prepare cash and get ready scream to driver if you want to come off from marshrutka (at least in Russia we had to do it) otherwise he feels like a pilot of plane and aims for a horizon.
I wish you good luck and looking forward for a lots of words and pictures here in your travelblog!
